Factorio for PC is a construction and management simulation game. Fun fact for you: the game actually has a new species of scorpion named for it! It was discovered by the game developer’s dad, and he named it for his son’s creation, forever linking the two for posterity – a pretty cool dad gift by any standards! What’s the Story? You take on the character of an engineer who has crash landed on a planet, and your ultimate goal is to build a spacecraft that will enable you to either leave the planet or summon help – but you can take your time completing this task and fully explore the world before you take your man home. You can play single-player, co-op mode or multiplayer, depending on your needs. Unlike most resource gathering, crafting games, this game needs to make huge quantities of items, so instead of doing the hard work yourself, your job is to layout rows upon rows of factories, each crafting the parts you need to make other goods – you can even make factories to make the component parts of more factories! You could say that instead of crafting, you set up crafting processes.
