EA Play Pro One-Month Pass is a subscription service for dedicated gamers, and a replacement for EA Games’ Origin Access Premier, which was the previous high-end incarnation. The name was changed when EA Access changed to EA Play, bringing the two packs in line with one another. EA Play Pro is similar to EA Play, but there are several important distinctions. About Unlike EA Play, you can only access Play Pro with a PC: there is no games console port that allows access to the premier site. Even on a PC, you must access your benefits through the Origin store only. EA Play can be accessed via Steam, but EA Play Pro cannot. Just as with Play, you have full access to EA’s back catalogue and you can also access brand new games as they are released, and sometimes even before the official release date. You still receive the ten percent discount on purchased items, and this can make Pro membership a tempting proposition, especially if you already buy at least two new games each year. While EA Play members can access games for a free eight or ten hour session, this does not apply to Pro members as they have full access to the games all the time, from the moment they are made available. The Nitty Gritty Xbox owners with a Gold Live membership have EA Play access (on PC) included in their bundle, but must be aware that this does not apply to EA Play Pro.
