EA Play Box One-Month Pass: EA Games offers a monthly or yearly subscription service, which replaces the old EA Access and Origin Access passes. This mode of the service offers one-calendar-month of access to a vast array of back catalogue games. You also get access to brand new games for up to ten hours pre-release, but you will still have to buy the game if you are not prepared to wait for it to join ‘the list’ as the back catalogue is known. About EA Play Box One-Month Pass When you take out your subscription it is for a month at a time: so, if you begin your month on the 16th of any month, it will run until midnight on the 15th of the following month, and so on. The price for each month is set, and this makes it easy to budget for your gaming expenses – and if you can’t afford it one month, you can let your subscription lapse until you are back in funds once more. If you need to actively cancel you monthly payment, but do not want to lose any of the time remaining on the current month, for which you have paid, there is a facility in the setting where you can tick a box to unsubscribe at the end of the current session, a very useful feature if you are forgetful and broke! The subscription service can be accessed by PC owners as well as PlayStation and Xbox users – as long as the latter have PlayStation 4 or 5 or Xbox One or Xbox X/S. Console owners can only access the games developed or published by EA themselves, but PC users can enjoy some niche indie offerings alongside the regular back catalogue.
