Code Vein for PC is an action role playing game, set in a dystopian future world, when humans have weaponised the dead, turning them into a massive army of vampiric revenants designed to battle monsters who have emerged mysteriously all over the place. About the Game You play as a revenant, awakening in the remains of a city called Vein. You are guided by a girl, dressed all in white, called Io, who serves as instruction manual, map and guide for the first few moments of gameplay. The game is large open world, although there are many doorways which only open one way, so a player must be satisfied that they have unlocked all the secrets and discovered all the hidden power-ups, treasures and so on in one area before moving on to the next. The ending is equally open-ended, with several endings depending on how well the game was played. If the Revenant has been very successful, and brought many comrades along to the final scenes, it plays out one way, whereas if few have survived, or if the Revenant is alone, then a different scenario plays out.
