This first edition covers the sunshine state of California where you will drive your truck along the Pacific Coast Highway, known as State Route 1, and enjoy those landmarks that resonate with the USA. Enhanced sound effects make the game more authentic with different sounds appropriate to the day/night cycle such as the industrial sounds of the depots you are delivering to and the mélange of dialects you would expect to find in such a diverse continent. Game mechanics are based on the highly successful model from Euro Truck Simulator 2 and have been expanded with new features, creating the most captivating game experience from SCS Software. American Truck Simulator puts you in the seat of a driver for hire entering the local freight market, making you work your way up to create one of the largest transportation companies in the United States.
